Rating issues

This game contains graphic violence to human characters. There are a number of attacks that the player can use against enemies, including making a person explode into a bloody mess, decapitating an enemy, biting and ripping a person’s throat out, and smashing someone’s head into the ground, causing their head to explode. All of these attacks result in large amounts of blood and gore surrounding nearby surfaces. Innocent characters can be severely injured or killed. Players can attack anyone, including pedestrians who do not engage with the player otherwise.

This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’ and it’s derivatives. Milder bad language is also present including ‘shit’, ‘bitch’ and ‘dick’.

Other issues

Players will often come across corpses who have been decapitated, impaled or otherwise mutilated. These scenes tend to contain a lot of blood and detailed gore, such as visible entrails.

The game contains sexual innuendo, with characters referring to masturbation.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of expansion passes and DLCs, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
