Rating issues

This game contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’ and its derivatives. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘shit’, ‘bitch’ and ‘asshole’.

There are gory images throughout the game, including a man impaled on a wall, as well as the carcass of a pig with visible organs.

The game contains some realistic but limited violence, mostly shown from a first-person perspective. When caught, guards beat the player with batons, causing the player to yell in pain and fall to the ground, before cutting to black. Zombie-like enemies also attack, resulting in brief flashes of red and sounds of pain before the screen fades out. Players can fight back using a slingshot, but enemy reactions are minimal, with no visible blood or injuries. Explosions can set enemies on fire, but again, there is no graphic detail.

Other issues

At the beginning of the game, a religious cult is shown performing a ritual on a child they have kidnapped. A blue light emits from his chest before the cult leader triggers flames to engulf the scene. The child shows no reaction, and no injuries are visible.

There are disturbing images found throughout the game including a charred corpse of a child on a playground merry-go-round with their face hollowed out and letters found throughout the game covered in blood stains. Corpses will often litter the environment, some of which have bodies which have become intertwined with vines.
