The art style is colour- and cheerful. All characters look happy, even when they are sad. This is due to the overly child friendly style, dialogue and expressions used. In such a comical world, nothing is truly evil. When you are defeated, you get ‘delivered’ to a collection point/check point. No harm is done to your character. Enemies use a variety of attacks. They can jump/dash on you. Some fire fireworks at you or use balloons to leave you hanging mid-air. The fact that enemies do not damage you, but only push you flying into the air and into the water, makes the violence very mild.
