Rating issues
This game contains depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards both human and fantasy characters. During combat, when characters are hit, flashes of light are seen. When defeated, the character disappears from the screen completely. There are cutscenes in which the player sees the violence that has occurred. For example, a human character is impaled, although the angle means that the player never sees the full details of this. While the character is heard gasping in pain, there is no blood or gory detail, and she magically heals herself before standing up again. No blood or gore is seen at any point.
The game also contains use of bad language, including ‘piss’.
Other issues
This game features depictions of nudity in a non-sexual context. There is a moment in which a male character transforms and becomes evil. A red mist effect envelops them and, when they emerge from it, the character is seen topless.
There are characters in this game whose designs may be scary to younger players. There are also moments where music becomes more intense during cutscenes, which could be frightening to young children.
The game also features imagery and references to alcohol. In the main town is a bar which the player can enter. On tables and on the bar are steins and bottles of alcohol. The player, however, is not able to consume alcohol. If the player tries to order from the bar, they will be declined as they are “too young for a drink”.
