In SkyDrift Infinity, players pilot one of several air planes in a fictional racing competition. Most game modes either revolve around racing, taking opponents out, or surviving for as long as you can. The player can shoot down enemy planes using an assortment of weapons and power ups. When an enemy is taken out, the vehicle erupts into flames, resulting in an explosion. No pilots are explicitly harmed during the action.
