This game features frequent depictions of non-realistic violence towards human-like and animal-like characters. The player can attack members of opposing civilizations by clicking on them to trigger an attack. The characters show little or no reaction to the violence. Bright lights appear when characters are hit and numbers indicate the amount of damage inflicted. When characters are defeated, they fall to the floor and fade away, with no sight of blood or gore. Animals can also be attacked. For example, when a horse-riding warrior is defeated the horse falls over then runs away. Again, no injury is shown.

In later stages of the game, battleships and tanks can engage in battle, resulting in them exploding into flames. Cities can also be attacked, leaving behind rubble and clouds. It is implied that people in the vehicles and cities have been killed, although no detail of this is shown.
