Rating issues

This game contains infrequent depictions of gross violence towards human-like characters. The majority of the strong violence is towards the protagonist Lara Croft, there are multiple sections in the game where you must react quickly by pressing a button, and if you fail to do so it can result in Lara’s death. Some of these deaths include her being impaled on poles when being dragged down rapids and being impaled on a spear trap in an ancient temple. The reactions to the violence are realistic with her gasping for breath and struggling before the screen fades to black. This game also contains depictions of violence towards a defenceless human-like characters. A man is held down on a sacrificial table and stabbed through the torso as part of a ritual. After being killed his body is thrown down the temple steps into a pile of bodies made up of other sacrifice victims. This game also contains use of sexual expletives, the word “fuck” and its derivatives are found throughout.
