Violence in the game is mostly towards non-detailed human characters, however some of the games feature more detailed characters. Violence in Eternal Champions, Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master and Golden Axe games is non-realistic in nature, with characters able to kick opponents. You can also throw shuriken’s which causes some mild blood effects and bodies disappear after they are defeated. When battling the non-human looking enemies in Altered Beast, they disappear into chunks.
