Rating issues

This game contains multiple instances of graphic violence towards human characters, which includes the ability to shoot enemies’ limbs and heads off during combat, causing dismembered body parts to explode and remain on the floor. There is also violence towards vulnerable/defenceless characters, which is mostly depicted through cutscenes without player interaction. These cutscenes include a police officer shooting a restrained man, and a character being forced to press a button, which causes two restrained men to be electrocuted. Additionally, the game contains apparently motiveless killing or serious injury to multiple innocent human characters. This is shown in a scene where the antagonist of the story traps multiple civilians in a room, which he then causes to explode. The civilians are shown screaming in pain and terror as they burn alive. Their charred corpses can then be seen by the player.

This game also contains the use of stong language, including ‘fuck’. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘shit’, ‘bitch’ and ‘piss’.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase the Robocop: Rogue City base game from the in-game menu, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

There is a fantasy drug called ‘Nuke’ that is referenced throughout the game, as well as references to alcohol and tobacco. None of these substances can be used by the player.
