Reverie

This game was rated PEGI 7 because it features violence that lacks any apparent harm or injury to fantasy or mythical beings and creatures and non-realistic looking violence towards characters which although human are not very detailed.
You play as Tai, a young boy on summer holiday, who must explore Toromi Island. With angry spirits threatening the safety of the island’s inhabitants, Tai must venture through dangerous dungeons and across a variety of environments to put the spirits to rest.

Rating issues

The game looks like Earth Bound and The legend of Zelda (16 bit). The combat is nearly identical. You have multiple weapons with which you can slam, swing or shoot. Enemies hit by your weapons blink and disappear when they lose enough HP. Sometimes items are left behind to aid you in your quest.
