Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon takes place in a fictional, demon-ridden Western European city towards the end of the 19th century. The story focuses on a knight protector named Alushe and her two childhood friends – Liliana, a kind-hearted priestess, and Ruhenheid, a holy knight of the Lourdes Order.

This game contains frequent depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like and fantasy characters. Bright lights and magical effects are shown on impact of attacks. All characters have a health bar which decreases in size when damage has been inflicted. When an enemy has been defeated their bodies quickly disappear from the battlefield. This game contains infrequent depictions of obvious sexual innuendo. Some of the outfits that the female character’s wear are very revealing, with a few small sections of fabric covering the sensitive areas. This game also contains use of mild bad language. The word “bastard” can be found in the dialogue.
