This an action RPG in a somewhat cartoony style. Players encounter different enemy types but there is always a lack of reality in the violence and weapons used (e.g. whimsical plastic-cap pistols/blasters, exaggerated-sized pistols, swords, etc).

Violence is seen from afar and void of injuries or suffering. Characters show a small flashing reaction accompanied by a declining health bar. Upon defeat, characters will often disappear into a puff of smoke.
