Sports simulation game, which is the latest instalment in the Mario Golf series. Players can compete against familiar Mario characters, including in multi-player mode with up to three other players. The game includes a story mode and new modes, such as Speed Golf and Battle Golf.

Rating issues

This game features very mild violence. In some modes, players are able to slam into other players and stun them. Stunned characters fall onto the ground and blink but quickly get up again. There is no visible harm and the violence is presented comically and unrealistically.

The story mode features boss fights against cartoon-like monsters. The fights are comical in nature and feature unrealistic reactions.
