Rating issues

This game contains depictions of arcade style violence containing blood. When hit, blood splashes are seen on impact, and a health bar reduces overhead. Characters will often flinch slightly when hit, and some of them will yelp or grunt in pain. When defeated, creatures fall to the ground and disappear completely after a few seconds. If the player is defeated, the screen will turn grey as the player drops to the ground. ‘YOU ARE DEAD’ appears on the screen, and the player will then respawn at their last save point.

This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘shit’, ‘asshole’, ‘bloody’ and ‘bastard’.

The game includes alcohol use, with players prompted to drink ale as an objective, causing screen blurring and impaired gameplay. Taverns and drunk NPCs also appear throughout.

Other issues

In the game’s background, there are images of characters having been impaled, and corpses are sometimes seen hanging from ceilings. No blood detailing is seen on them, but these images may be disturbing to younger players.
