Violence is inflicted using swords and arrows. Each bout of fighting tests a certain skill and requires a specific number of uses of that skill in order to move on. Sword strikes are restricted to two areas of the opponent’s body: the head or abdomen. Hits to the head result in a small fountain of blood. As soon as the character hits the floor, large blood splatters cover the body. When the strike is to the abdomen, the character bends forwards and there is either a short or protracted stream of blood. Again, once the character falls to the floor, the body is covered by large splatters of blood.
