Violence in the game is mostly towards fantasy characters. Fantasy characters can be torn apart and decapitated by the player character, either by using an axe, a sword or the character’s bare hands. When human characters are hit they make pained sounds and blood effects are shown upon impact of strikes, but it is not the same as the violence against fantasy characters. There is a scene in the game in which a young boy is grabbed by the throat, stabbed in the shoulder and carried away. There is also a scene in which a human characters neck is snapped during a close up, with both characters covered in blood at the time. Another scene shows a human character being hit with an axe multiple times, with the final blow landing between his eyes, killing him instantly before the player character pulls the axe from his face. The game also contains use of the word “Fuck” and its derivatives.
