Rating issues
Cutscenes in the game depict strong, realistic-looking violence towards human characters. For example, in one scene, a man is shot and drops to his knees before faceplanting the ground. Another scene depicts a humanoid character being impaled with a sword and is heard struggling to speak. As the sword is removed, blood sprays out of the man’s body. The man then falls to the ground. Combat in the game is frenetic and is realistic to fantasy characters. When hit, fantasy enemies fly backwards as number damage is seen and a health bar depletes. At times, splashes of blood accompany this. When killed, creatures disappear in a red puff of smoke. One cutscene depicts a fantasy creature squealing and roaring in pain before dropping to the ground. No visible wounds are seen on their body.
Other issues
This game contains instances of sexual posturing. During the game, the player is able to position the camera to get different angles of character’s bodies.
This game also contains the use of bad language, including ‘bastard’, ‘goddamn’ and ‘assholes’.
This game also contains disturbing images. In many of the environments, the ground is made of a fleshy material, which, if the player jumps on, blood will splash out as a result. In one scene, human corpses are seen lying on the ground. No blood or injuries are seen on their bodies, but bloody smears are seen on the ground near them.
Bottles of alcohol are seen which are used for decoration only. The player cannot interact with these.
At one point in the game, during a conversation between two characters, a woman mentions that she is the “Alpha” and is the “only Outer in the world capable of giving birth”. She goes on to say that people have been after her since she was little; people have been pursuing her since she was 12 years old. No images are given of this happening, and no further details are provided about this.
