Black Future ’88 is a synth-punk rogue-like 2D action shooter. Vertically climb an always evolving procedurally-generated tower to reach the top and destroy its creator in less than 18 minutes before your heart explodes.

Rating issues

The game features hectic gameplay in which non detailed humanlike characters and fantasy characters can be shot with a large variety of guns, or hit with melee weapons. Due to the lack of detail in the violence itself and the characters, and the fact that there is no emphasis or zoom in on any pain or suffering, the violence itself stays rather mild.
The game features some darker scenes with scary sound effect and can have a looming atmosphere. Therefore the game received a fear rating.
