Characters are equipped with weapons commensurate with the time period. Regardless of the type of weapon used the result when a character is hit is broadly the same, either the character’s health gauge will expire immediately and it will fall to the ground and disappear or it must be subjected to a number of hits before it’s health is reduced to zero at which point it falls to the ground and disappears. There are no visible injuries sustained by a character, neither is there the use of blood effects.
