The game contains a mixture of 2d Metroidvenia action mixed with parts tower defence gameplay. The graphics are 16-bit pixel style. Most of the violence that is shown on screen is versus fantasy characters. The violence is unrealistic. Characters can be shot multiple times without a clear reaction to the action. When hit, a health bar diminishes. When defeated the characters disappear in a stylized explosion. The human-like characters are, just like all the other characters, heavily pixelated. The characters you control have health bars which are drained when hit. There is no emphasis on any pain or suffering.
