Rating issues
This game contains moving images that teach and/or glamorise the use of games of chance that are played/carried out as a traditional means of gambling. In one of the game’s areas, there is a casino where players are able to partake in various traditional casino games, such as Poker, Blackjack, Roulette and Slot Machines. The player wins/loses currency at the end of each game, which can be spent on in-game items like weapons, armour and potions. The games can be played repeatedly, so long as the player has currency to spend.
Other issues
This game contains references to potentially distressing themes such as suicide and sexual violence.
Gameplay combat shows examples of non-realistic violence towards both humans and fantasy characters. Combat can be played in a real-time or turn-based format, where players can either make a physical attack or they can attack using magical powers which cause buffs/debuffs. When attacking, the characters will leap and make a slash with a weapon, causing the enemy to recoil whilst damage numbers appear on the screen. These attacks almost always are covered with brightly coloured effects and impact details that are non-realistic. One character uses magical attacks that resemble blood, but the blood is not directly linked to injuries.
This game also contains the use of bad language, including ‘bastard’, ‘shit’ and ‘piss’.
Sexual innuendo is present in this game, with suggestive dialogue and one mission focussing on catching a ‘perv’ who is peeping on women in a bathhouse.
There are some alcohol references, as well as dialogue about fantastical drugs. The player cannot interact with any illicit substances.
