Players encounter various fantastical enemies throughout. These enemies can be defeated by shooting at them with a gun called the Smurfomix. Characters don’t give any indication of pain or injury when hit or defeated, simply disappearing in a puff of black goo.

The game’s villain is a rather large and intimidating creature that some young players may find scary. It has a low, booming voice and must be fought multiple times. There’s also an area in the game that has a spooky atmosphere, including flickering lamplight and a giant, creepy scarecrow.
