Open-world dark fantasy role-playing game set in 14th-century Europe. Players take on the role of Coen, human by day and vampire by night, fighting to save their family.

Rating issues

This game features depictions of graphic violence, towards human characters. Cutscenes in particular see characters being dismembered as their limbs are ripped off, accompanied by large splashes of blood. Most of the violence during the game is realistic towards human characters. During combat, enemies grunt when hit and slashes of blood are seen on impact. A health bar reduces overhead. When killed, enemies fall to the ground and their bodies remain.

This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’ and its derivatives. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘shit’, ‘twat’ and ‘bastard’.

Other issues

Strong, gory images are seen during gameplay, with dismembered characters who have visible gore and bone details sticking out of the wound. Bloodied corpses are also seen frequently throughout gameplay.

The game also contains frequent scenes of sexual nudity. There are numerous moments where nudity is seen as a prelude to human sexual activity.

There are frequent references to characters consuming alcohol throughout the game. Alcohol can also be stored in the player inventory and can be consumed, which restores some of the player’s health.
