This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence, violence against vulnerable characters and the use of strong language.
Retro-style beat ‘em up game in which players control Art the Clown, the antagonist from the ‘Terrifier’ horror film series, as he disrupts movie sets where films about his own gruesome acts are being produced.

Rating issues

This game contains depictions of graphic violence, including dismemberment towards human characters. As the player makes their way through each stage, they will be tasked with fighting a series of enemies. When hit, these characters will grunt in pain as splatters of blood are seen on the ground. When defeated, enemies fall to the ground. The player is then given the option to kill them in a more intense way by shooting off or crushing their head. This results in large sprays of blood as body parts from the body. The player can also attack and kill vulnerable characters as they walk through the stages.

This game contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’ and it’s derivatives. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘bitch’ and ‘bastard’.

Other issues

Disturbing images are found throughout the game. These images are small and non-detailed but feature a character holding a dismembered arm featuring bone sticking out with small blood stains. One particular level shows photos from the actual ‘Terrifier’ movies in the background. The most pertinent image shows a woman with blood over her face.

Bottles of alcohol and cigarettes can be seen on the ground in the background of the game, but no consumption is depicted.
