‘Star Fox’ is a space-based shoot-em-up game; a re-imagining of Star Fox 64 with enhanced graphics and fully voiced and animated cutscenes. Gameplay involves piloting a spaceship over different planets, nebulae and asteroid fields while shooting down enemy ships and monsters.

Rating issues

Violence is directed at vehicles and fantasy characters. While playing, small portraits will often pop up whenever a character speaks, indicating that most of the vehicles in the game are piloted by characters, so violence towards them is implied. Some of the stages also feature local flora and fauna that need to be battled. Enemies flash when hit and explode when defeated. Larger enemies sometimes have body parts that need to be destroyed before players can start attacking their core.

Some of the large enemies also have designs that may be scary to younger players.
