Rating issues

The game features prominent use of alcohol, particularly sake, as part of its Japanese cultural setting. Players can craft alcoholic beverages with health benefits and gift them to NPCs to increase bonds. Cutscenes often depict alcohol consumption, including ceremonial drinks and drinking parties, with characters engaging in drunken behaviour and dialogue. While players can’t make their character drink, alcohol’s health benefits and frequent depictions of drunkenness are notable throughout the game.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of links to DLCs, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

The game includes non-realistic violence, with characters hit by light flashes and damage numbers. Enemies disappear as blue orbs when defeated, and there’s no blood or visible injuries. If the player loses all health, they respawn at the nearest Dragon Shrine. Cutscenes feature moderate violence, such as lightning hitting a character or a sword strike, with no blood or injuries shown.
This game also contains the use of bad language, including ‘bastard’, ‘asshole’ and ‘piss’.

Players can pursue romantic relationships with NPCs, leading to marriage and children. No sexual content is shown. Characters can wear bikinis in hot springs, with outfits unlocked for various settings.

The player can collect mushrooms and bring them to an expert for identification. To identify them, either the player or the expert must consume the mushroom. If the mushroom has negative effects, the character briefly grimaces and collapses but recovers immediately with no lasting consequences.
