Platformer game in which players take on the role of Peppino Spaghetti as he navigates his way up the titular pizza tower, battling various enemies made of ingredients typically used when making pizza.

Rating issues

This game contains scenes of moderate horror. One level is set in an abandoned pizza restaurant with ‘animatronics’ that resemble food. The level is dark and eerie, with ominous music. The animatronics pursue the player, and when caught, there is a jump scare where the animatronics’ face pops up and a screaming sound is heard.

This game also contains the use of bad language, including ‘shit’.

Other issues

Violence throughout the game is largely non-realistic, with cartoon visuals and fast-paced action. When the player character is injured, he briefly flashes red, his eyes bulge, and stars swirl around his head. If the player takes too much damage or falls off the map, a screen shows the character face down with spaghetti, meatballs and red ‘sauce’ beneath him. Enemies are mainly fantasy creatures that resemble different food. When hit, they make a pained face and fall off the map. No blood is seen as a result of violence.
