This game features mild violence towards cartoon-like human-like and fantasy characters. Violence is mostly found in the battle system, although there are some mild depictions of violence in scenes set in the over-world. The latter is often barely animated or happens outside of view entirely. For instance, the screen shakes, the camera pans, and you see a character lying on the ground unconscious. Violence found in the battle system is more frequent, although unrealistic in nature, as are reactions to it. Characters flash when hit, there is no visible harm, enemies often explode the same way and then disappear, and numbers indicate health and damage.
