Halo: Campaign Evolved is a faithful remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, recreated from the ground up, with modern graphics and updated presentation. Players experience the original 10 missions alongside 3 new, expanded missions that explore the relationship between Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson.

Rating issues

This game contains sustained scenes of realistic combat between Master Chief, human soldiers, and alien forces, resulting in blood, injury and death. Some enemies can be dismembered, with detailed gore effects.

Gory images include a scene in which a human character, barely alive and heavily mutated, is released from their suffering by having their brainstem severed. While the act is only partially shown, some players may find this scene disturbing.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of weapons and armour which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

This game also contains the use of bad language, including ‘asshole’, ‘bastard’ and ‘bitch’.
