Rating issues

This game contains depictions of dismemberment towards fantasy characters. If the player uses higher-powered weapons, they can blow the head off of enemies. A small amount of blood can be seen when this happens, and the monster can be heard roaring on impact. Most of the violence towards monsters is non-realistic; when hit, creatures flinch but immediately disappear in a cloud of blood. There is some implied violence in the game; a cutscene depicts a man sat at a table. A monster approaches them from behind and grabs them. They fall to the ground, and the table blocks the player’s view as the man is heard choking.

There is a constant ominous atmosphere throughout the game, with blood, corpses and mutilated bodies found in the rooms. At one point, some of these mutilated corpses are seen hanging from the ceiling. Blood and bone can be seen where limbs and body parts have been removed. A cutscene shows the protagonist lying on an operating table with a person examining inside their head. Their head is cut open, with blood covering the table, and their brain is visible. Cutscenes often show a woman who is seen in bloody clothing being dragged along the ground or grabbed by other characters. witness her being hurt or injured in these cutscenes. The designs of the zombie-like creatures may be scary to younger players; these creatures have sharp teeth where their chests are, with organs and skeletons visible.

Other issues

One of the chapters in the game takes place in “The Infant Ward.” From this moment on, cutscenes frequently show a young girl in the ward. At times, as the player walks around, though the child is out of sight, she is heard singing and, at one point, crying. No violence is ever seen towards children.

As the player explores the environment, they will often see bottles of painkillers around. The player can collect these, and when they do, they will boost the player’s HP. The player never actually sees their character consume them, nor is the name of the medical drug ever given.

As they explore, the player will encounter a large monstrous creature with (what appears to be) visible breasts. This does not feel sexual in nature.
