‘Crimson Desert’ tells the story of Kliff, leader of the Greymane Freeswords, and his adventures on Pywel. The game is an open world third person action RPG with focus on combat, exploration and life elements.

Rating issues

This game contains depictions of graphic violence towards human characters. Some cutscenes show characters being killed in a violent fashion; one character is shown being brutally impaled using swords, before having their neck sliced open with very strong levels of blood present. There are also depictions of motiveless killing of multiple innocents. In the game players will visit densely populated cities and settlements, where they can commit mass murder at any point.

This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’.

Other issues

Prominent use of alcohol is found in the game. Alcohol can be purchased, found and consumed by the player from their inventory, restoring health and showing the protagonist lifting something to their lips.

This game contains references to suicide.
