This game contains depictions of non-realistic violence towards fantasy characters. Players can pounce on fantastical enemies, who disappear in puffs of smoke. Bubsy himself can be killed in multiple ways, for example by falling into water, being flattened by vehicles or by running into hazards like spikes and giant scissors. Depending on the cause of death, an animation shows Bubsy being defeated in an over-the-top, slapstick manner.
