Brawlhalla is a multiplayer battle game in a cartoony and fantastical setting. Action takes place on platforms seen from a distant 2D perspective. The goal is to knock an opponent off the platforms and out of bounds.

Rating issues

Violence consists of kicks, punches and the use of some weapons. There is no blood or visible injury. The character’s reactions to the violence are over-exaggerated with bright flashes and smoke effects on impact. A character can appear worn down when its health bar is low but the violence is never up close or severe.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of Mammoth Coins (virtual currency) which can, in turn, be used to purchase cosmetics and random reward chests, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child.
