This game contains depictions of arcade style violence containing blood and gore. During combat, when enemies are hit, large amounts of blood spray on impact. Characters will often be heard grunting in pain during this. Players can perform “execution-style” finishing moves, which often involve the player’s character dismembering enemies. There is blood and visible gore during this, but images are small and non-detailed. Enemies tend to disappear completely after being defeated. Cutscenes depict more realistic violence, including a scene where the protagonist stabs himself in the torso with a sword. Blood is seen at the site of the injury as the man is seen gripping onto a chair in pain.
