Platform game in which the player explores four different worlds inside the new PS5 console. The purpose of the game is to introduce players to the new console’s features and controller.

Rating issues

Players can use weapons, such as plunger arrows and a pellet gun which shoots coloured balls, to destroy objects and defeat enemies. The player can also whack robots, including robot-like animals, with hands or weapons.

The player’s character can take damage, such as by falling off platforms, being flattened or being electrocuted. However, the violence is mild, unrealistic and cartoon-like.

Some of the ‘boss’ characters, including a dinosaur-like character, may be scary for younger children.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to directly purchase other games in the ASTRO franchise. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
