First-person horror game set in a near-future filled with immersive technology. Players take on the role of Samuel, the sole game tester for a revolutionary new VR headset where AI preys on your deepest fears. When Samuel immerses himself into the horrific worlds constructed for him, the lines between virtual and reality start to blur.

Rating issues

This game contains depictions of graphic violence towards human characters. Some cutscenes show characters being partially dismembered with visible gore and intense pain reactions. This game also contains combat against fantasy and human characters contains strong, realistic-looking reactions. The player is given access to different weapons such as guns or swords and when using them against enemies, they recoil and react audibly to damage, with blood effects spraying out.

This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘shit’ and ‘bastard’.

Other issues

Intense and sustained horror sequences are present, as well as strong gory images. This game navigates various horror themes where the player is relentlessly pursued and surprised by creatures that threaten to harm and/or kill. Jump scares occur throughout the game. Corpses are frequently seen with strong gore present, including one corpse that must be dismembered in order for players to progress.
