This iteration features similar gameplay to the old school NES counterparts and utilizes a gang of different bombermen in an effort to the defeat the Five Dastardly Bombers. Players are presented with a cartoony maze and can drop bombs within that maze. The objective is to destroy all enemies using the bombs set blast radius. The game’s narrative is tied together using (still) cartoony cut scenes.
