This game was rated PEGI 16 for sustained depictions of death and frequent use of mildly offensive to strong language. It is not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.
Death end re;Quest is a game that takes the classic turn-based RPG and turns it on its head. Players are able to change the game’s genre and switch game modes from RPG into fighting, shooter, and even a slot mode. You’ll also be able to jump at will between the in-game world and the real world to investigate your missing friend.

Rating issues

There is a scene in which the death of a character is drawn out over several minutes starting with their impalement and ending with their decapitation. The dialogue describing the scene is far more graphic than the accompanying imagery.
Mild to strong language includes the words ‘bastard’, ‘bitch’, ‘goddamn’, ‘piss’, ‘shit’ and the word ‘fuck’ and its derivatives.

Other issues

Throughout the game the dialogue graphically describes scenes of torture and horrific deaths, but the background images do not depict anything like this.
During the battle scenes, the female characters have a special move which involves them shedding their clothes to be fully naked with their nipples and genitalia minimally covered by black and coloured shapes or tendrils and bright lights.
