Dollhouse

This game is rated PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for anyone below this age. This rating has been given due to frequent scenes of violence of a sexual nature and infrequent use of strong language.
Dollhouse is a first-person horror puzzle game that takes place in a film noir setting.
The player will experience the story through the mind of main character, detective Marie. She must navigate the darkened levels of her past, avoiding the scary, violence mannequins and solve the puzzles to collect the film fragments and rebuild her memories to discover who she really is.

Rating issues

The film clips are made up of vintage, live-action footage and feature actors involved in scenes of stripping and performing erotic dances. In addition, some clips feature sexual fetishes including bondage and sado-masochism – although these are not particularly explicit – and a scene of naked breasts being sucked.
These scenes form part of the overall game narrative. The presence of fetishized sexual practices are sufficiently explicit enough to warrant a PEGI 18.
Strong language is rarely used throughout the game but does include the word ‘fuck’.

Other issues

The film fragments also contain multiple scenes of people smoking and drinking although no-one is actively encouraged to do so.
