Battalion 1944

This game has received a PEGI 16 because it features sustained depictions of violence towards human characters, moderate violence and use of strong language. Not appropriate for persons below 16 years of age.
Battalion recaptures the core of classic competitive shooters & refines the ‘classic’ FPS feel for the next generation. Focusing on 5v5 infantry combat, where precise flick shots with your Kar98, covering fire with your Thompson and fluid movement are key to clutching every round for your team.

Rating issues

Violence in the game is realistic looking, characters will react to being shot, blood splatters will appear, and the character will fall to the ground, there are however no visible injuries. Bladed weapons elicit the same type of response, again there are no visible injuries. Explosive devices, such as grenades, will create a considerable visual effect in which a character will be flung a short distance from the seat of the explosion, but there is no gross violence such as dismemberment or decapitation.
There is a limited amount of dialogue in the game, but within the few words / sentences spoken there is the use of the sexual expletive ‘fuck’.
