This game contains depictions of arcade style violence containing blood and gore, as well as sustained depictions of death towards human-like and animal-like characters. Mild blood effects appear on impact of attacks with characters letting out pained grunts and cries. When the characters have been defeated, they fall to the floor and a pool of blood builds up around them. The bodies stay visible on the battlefield for the remainder of the level. If a large amount of enemies are killed in a specific area, the bodies will begin to build up and litter the battlefield. When certain enemies are killed body parts can fall to the ground and be collected by the protagonist. All of the violence is shown from a distant top-down angle with characters appearing small on the screen. The most pertinent scene of violence is present towards the beginning of the game, it depicts the protagonist’s arm being dismembered. The scene is shown through a series of still images with very basic movement which lessens the impact of the violence.
