Rating issues
Gameplay violence generally consists of fast-paced battle sequences in which human and fantasy characters use both weapons and magic. Damage is shown using numbers and there are bright flashing effects when characters are hit. However, there are no realistic physical reactions, blood or injuries. Cinematic scenes include a large creature being shot in the face. A red/orange glow is seen on impact as the creature roars in pain and jerks their head backwards, before collapsing dead on the ground. No blood or injuries are seen.
The game also includes the use of bad language, including ‘bastard’, ‘piss’, ‘shit’ and ‘bitch’.
Other issues
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of a link to the store, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
Some of the creatures in the game have appearances that may be scary to younger players.
There are references to alcohol, but the player does not consume or interact with this.
At one point in the game, a character talks about a man who assaulted her. This is all shown via text; no images are seen of this.
