Rating issues
This game contains strong, realistic-looking violence towards human characters. Combat can include the player shooting enemies with guns, causing moderate blood effects and realistic reactions such as recoiling and shouting in pain, but dismemberment is not present. Cutscenes also contain strong violence, with one example showing a character being stabbed in the eye by the player character. The player character’s hand obscures most of the actual injury, but the affected character screams in pain and a drop of blood streaks down his cheek. He then falls off a ledge and is shown to have a bloodied face with a dark wound where his eye should be.
Other issues
The game also contains sexual innuendo throughout. In one scene, the player character kisses a woman passionately and lifts her onto a desk. The screen fades to black, and the two are then seen in bed in their underwear. Another scene shows a woman in a bikini and sheer skirt. The player character makes a comment that suggests he is looking at her buttocks.
Milder bad language is present, including ‘shit’, ‘bastard’ and ‘asshole’.
There are a few scenes in which the player character drinks alcohol, but it is not a prominent part of the game, and there are no gameplay effects accompanying the alcohol consumption.
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of additional content and edition upgrades, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
