Rating issues

This game features frequent graphic violence towards human-like characters. Powerful attacks, especially those with bladed weapons, cause enemies to be dismembered, accompanied by strong blood and gore effects. Dismembered limbs and severed limbs remain in the environment after the enemy has fallen. The game also contains depictions of motiveless killing of multiple innocent humans. Throughout the game the player can attack and kill any of the innocent civilians populating the world. When the player attacks an innocent character, the surrounding humans either retaliate or run away screaming and attempt to hide. The level of violence towards the civilians is the same as the violence that can be inflicted onto enemy characters, meaning they can also be dismembered in various ways.

This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘shit’, ‘asshole’ and ‘bastard’.

Other issues

Alcohol and cigarettes are referenced throughout the entirety of the game, with NPCs often seen drinking and smoking. The player can purchase cigarettes and different kinds of alcohol, which will be added to their inventory. These can then be consumed by the player, who is granted temporary stat boosts as well as some debuffs.

Strong, gory images are seen often with bloody, dismembered corpses littering environments. Blood and bone details are seen at the dismemberment sites. In some areas, players will find large cubes which appear to be human corpses that have been compressed and compacted.

There are references in the game to characters taking their own lives.
