This game contains scenes of violence which are implied. The story is told through still images that move slightly. During violent scenes, the screen will cut to black as the sound of a knife slicing is heard and a slash appears across the screen. When the screen cuts back, characters are seen covered in blood. In one scene, a man is decapitated as a result of this, but the actual violence is not seen, nor is the result overly gory.

There are a number of sequences which feature images of dead bodies, often in pools of blood. These images are often paired with distorted, unnerving music and sound effects which emphasise a building feeling of dread and tension.

Artwork is seen throughout the game of topless mermaids, with their hair or seaweed often covering their breasts.
