Rating issues
This game contains strong, realistic violence towards both human and fantasy characters. Players can use guns and knives to kill zombie creatures. When hit, a small splash of pixelated blood is seen. When killed, the zombie falls to the ground, and their bodies remain there. If the player is injured during attacks, they are heard grunting as blood pours from them, leaving small puddles on the ground. These blood puddles disappear seconds later. Arcade violence containing blood and gore is seen frequently as characters are shown being ripped apart by enemies. Images are pixelated and non-detailed.
This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘f**k’ and ‘c**t’. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘bastard’ and ‘bitch’.
Other issues
There are frequent references to alcohol, with bottles of wine and empty beer cans seen in the environments and mentions of characters being drunk. The player does not consume these substances.
As the player explores the environment, they will often find and collect medical drugs.
There is a scene in the game in which a child is held at gunpoint by a man while he talks to the girl’s mother. After the conversation with the protagonist and the girl’s mother, the man drags the girl away. Images are static and pixelated.
This game contains disturbing images, with blood appearing frequently in the environment. At times, small, pixelated body parts or entrails are seen but these are non-detailed. The game has a scary atmosphere overall with characters whose appearances are likely to be scary to younger players.
