Psychological survival horror game in which players take on the role of Michael J. Jones, a scientist who crashes in a remote valley while on a research trip. Separated from his team and surrounded by terrifying and mysterious forces, he must survive and uncover the truth about the valley. Players will navigate the tunnels and trenches of the dilapidated site and solve puzzles with the aim of finding a way out or summoning rescue.

Rating issues

Violent scenes include witnessing human-like characters restrained and beaten to death, burnt alive on pyres, and impaled with large, bladed weapons. These scenes are typically depicted from a distance, in the background, and the player is unable to interact with them. No graphic gory details are depicted.

This game also contains the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’ and its derivatives. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘shit’.

Other issues

The game also includes references to miscarriage, child-loss, and suicide.

Human and mutated corpses are frequently found hanging from trees and piled on the ground. Most of these show no visible gore effects until later, when dismembered bodies can be found nailed to walls and lying on gurneys.
