Sci-fi horror game set aboard the Cassiopeia, a spaceship on its way to start a colony on Tau Ceti f, when an unexplained hull breach brings with it an alien organism that threatens all life on board. Gameplay is a mix is third-person view exploration and interactive cinematics, driven by the choices you make as you fight for survival against a hostile extra-terrestrial.

This game contains depictions of graphic violence, including scenes of human decapitation and dismemberment shown in close-up, graphic detail, with blood and gore effects.

The game also includes the use of strong language, including ‘fuck’ and its derivatives. Milder bad language is also present, including ‘bastard’, ‘bitch’ and ‘bullshit’.

Other issues

There are frequent scenes in both the exploration gameplay and cinematics which players may find disturbing or horrifying, including the appearance of heavily mutilated corpses, shown in graphic detail (some of which must be interacted with), scenes of characters catching fire and scenes of being chased down dark corridors while avoiding being eaten.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase other Supermassive games from within the in-game store, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of.
