Rating issues

This game contains non-realistic looking violence towards human characters. The player controls a cartoonish human girl who fights waves of enemies that must be defeated in order to advance to the next stage. When she is damaged, she recoils and yelps. Light blood effects spray out. She also has a health bar that depletes when damage is taken, as well as damage numbers. If the player takes considerable damage, the screen has a red tinge, and a heartbeat sound plays.

This game also includes the use of bad language, including ‘shit’ and ‘bastard’.

Other issues

There are some enemies and scenes that may be frightening to young children. This includes scenes with characters laying on the ground where it is implied they are dead but there is no sight of injury or blood.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of season passes and DLC which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
