Rating issues

This game contains strong, realistic looking violence towards human-like characters. There is one scene in particular, where the main character rips off his mask that has seemingly fused to his skin. There are squelching and tearing sounds, accompanied with lots of blood. The character is then shown with his face all bloody, albeit without gore. Additionally, there is another scene where the same character is beaten up until visibly injured with bruises, and then thrown against a wall and choked until he falls limp. During the choking, he can be heard gasping and struggling for breath. This game also features non-realistic violence to human and fantasy characters, with turn-based battles, non-realistic attacks, damage numbers and mild reactions to violence. Characters use special abilities and Personas to attack each other, with bright colours and magical attacks. Characters can be heard grunting and recoiling on hits but show no injury detail.

This game also contains strong language including ‘fuck’, as well as milder bad language, such as ‘bitch’, ‘bastard’ and ‘shit’.

Other issues

This game contains sexual innuendo. There are a few monsters, or ‘Personas’ that appear nude. One has her bare breasts visible, but without nipples. There is a monster that players fight that resembles male genitalia.

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of currency, which can then be used to acquire randomised items such as Personas. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
